 "ICONOCLASSIC" is a survey of artists working in a variety of medium and genres with a common desire to push the envelope and develop work in new directions. Engaging contemporary approaches to classic subject matter or avant guard subject matter explored through a traditional approach, these nine artists and their divergent paths will now converge and converse in a unique exhibition at Bleicher/Golightly Gallery in Santa Monica Work includes both formal and more unusual forms of process including : kinetic art, pyrography (blow torch), manipulated photography, 3-D college (pop-up), lightworks, found object, conceptual, mixed media (ie. plastic, LED), sculpture and painting.

Bleicher/Golightly specializes in investible works by artists that have crossed traditionally contentious art ideologies, including expressive-conceptual, insider-outsider, high-low and figurative-abstract.
